Gallery on the Main Two Walls:
The main walls are approximately 20 feet wide
by 15 feet high. We will be looking to display
large format work in this area: either 2 large
pieces (min 10'x10', max 18w'x 14h') or several
pieces at least 5'x5' dimension. The pieces
will be above eye level so it will be necessary
for artwork displayed on the walls to be large
enough to be seen from ground level. We would
like to showcase the work of one artist at
a time on these two walls— it is ideal
that the artist we choose give us 2 large 16'x13'
or so pieces. What we will accept: All formats,
including Installations, Photographs, Paintings,
Mixed Media, Projections.
Gallery at Base of Main Two Walls:
This area will showcase artwork and photographs
that are of a smaller format. Ideally, we'd
like to showcase a series from one artist,
6-12 pieces, max 20 inches in height.

Independent Films: Filmmakers, video artists and animators interested in submitting their work for consideration may mail their DVD(s) and any relevant materials to: Parish Diner, 218 Richardson St, Brooklyn, NY 11222, ATTN: FILM NIGHT
Although not required please include any publicity material in the mailing (i.e. press kit, production stills, trailers). Each disc must be clearly marked or labeled (preferred) with the following:
-TITLE
-RUNNING TIME
-DIRECTOR'S NAME
-CONTACT PHONE# and E-MAIL ADDRESS.
At this time there is no cost to submit your work to Independent Film Night. Filmmakers may also hand-deliver their submission package to Parish Diner directly during normal operating hours. Only NTSC R-1 DVDs will be accepted for screening purposes. Entrants should test their discs in a variety of consumer-grade DVD players to ensure it meets this specification. **We cannot guarantee the return of submitted material so please refrain from sending master and/or limited copies of your work.**
Parish Diner welcomes all types of submissions and observes a content-neutral policy. Please note, however, that any work deemed to be excessively violent, derisive, sexual explicit or otherwise unsuitable for public screening will be disqualified from consideration. Also those works that exhibit a higher production value (especially with regards to sound quality) will be accorded priority scheduling consideration.
